We think it’s more than just a benefit. It’s an important part of working at Makivvik, because it could help you attain qualifications you are missing, or help you obtain academic credentials to further your career.

Training

Makivvik provides training opportunities on the job. We work with academic institutions such as McGill University. Inuit beneficiaries at Makivvik can earn a certificate in the Public Governance and Administration program, even without a high school diploma.
Inuit employees benefit from a wide variety of training opportunities both in-house, and in collaboration with organizations such as Ilinapaaq, Pijunngunga, Lester B. Pearson, McGill, and the University of Laval.
