Our Benefits

Our head office is in Kuujjuaq, Nunavik. We have satellite offices across Nunavik, and we have an office in the Montreal area located in Ville St. Laurent, and an office in Quebec City. As a Nunavik based employer we have a range of employee benefits tailored to working in the “North”, or the “South”. Did you know Montreal is considered “South”? For Inuit, Montreal is simply tropical!
Inuit beneficiaries of the JBNQA Agreement have access to a full range of employee benefits at Makivvik. Whether you live in or outside of Nunavik we have benefits tailored to your needs. In Nunavik you have access to: Isolation Premium, Cargo and Gasoline Allowance, and Travel Benefit. Outside of Nunavik there is a Housing Allowance benefit.
