Inuit beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) who wish to run as a candidate in the October 5, 2026, Québec provincial election must complete the required nomination process with Élections Québec.
To become a candidate, you must meet the eligibility requirements and submit a nomination paper with the required documents and signatures. The nomination period ends September 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
