Kuujjuaq, Nunavik – Today, elections were held in three (3) communities (Kuujjuaraapik, Puvurnituq and Kangiqsualujjuaq) to elect their local representative to the Board of Directors of Makivvik. Also, candidates in Kuujjuaq and Akulivik were acclaimed as representatives for the Makivvik Board of Directors.

Further to a recount, these results have been confirmed and are final.
